How it Works

SVG to PNG

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is an XML-based vector format. Because it's vector-based, it can be scaled infinitely without losing quality. Our tool parses SVG code directly in your browser and renders it onto a high-resolution Canvas, finally exporting it as a PNG bitmap. This allows you to convert vector icons or designs into universal image formats.

PNG to SVG

PNG is a bitmap format made of pixels. Converting it to vector format usually requires complex "tracing" algorithms. This tool currently offers two modes:

Features

Infinite Scaling

When converting SVG to PNG, choose 2x, 4x, or even 8x scaling to get ultra-HD PNGs with crisp edges.

100% Client-Side

All conversions happen within your browser. Your designs and files are never uploaded to our servers, ensuring absolute privacy.

Transparency Support

Supports transparent backgrounds perfectly. Whether it's SVG transparency or PNG alpha channels, they are preserved.

Broad Compatibility

Generated SVG code is standard-compliant and works seamlessly with Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, and other design tools.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is SVG to PNG better than a screenshot?
Screenshots are limited by your screen density. Our converter renders directly from vector data, allowing you to set arbitrary scale factors (like 8x) for perfect, lossless detail.
Does PNG to SVG make editable paths?
Currently, we support "Embed" and "Pixelate" modes. Converting complex photos into editable bezier curves (tracing) is a planned feature for future updates.
Does it support SVG text/fonts?
Yes. However, if your SVG uses custom fonts not embedded in the file, the browser handles the fallback. We recommend converting text to outlines in your design software for the best results.
Will Pixel Vectorization make huge files?
Yes. Since every pixel becomes a standard `` element, high-resolution images will generate massive files. This mode is best used for small icons (e.g., 64x64 or 128x128).
Does it work on mobile?
Absolutely. The tool is fully responsive and runs directly in your mobile browser, allowing you to convert and save images on the go.
